my dad and i got the chance to take a ride up to Orange County Choppers today to deliver a car to Paul Sr. we got up there around lunchtime. because of that, we weren't able to see the guys working. but, we got a grand tour of the place. checked out the area where they build the bikes on the show, where all of the CNC machines and water jets are housed, etc. the have pretty much all of the bikes that were built on the show on display, so we were able to check them out too.

we then followed Paul to his house to unload the car and check out some of the other cars in his collection. we stood around shootin' the s--t for quite awhile, then he got a call and need to get back to the shop. so we headed home.

i wasn't sure what all was gonna happen at the shop, so i didn't take my camera in with me. but before we left his place i got a pic with him along side of the yellow 67 442 we built a couple years ago that he recently purchased late last year from the guy we built it for.

Fun day, indeed!

What's that big blue thing hanging over your head?

he has motorcyles on them suspended from the ceiling. there's like 8-10 of them in there.

How was it overall? He looks as happy as I have ever seen him

he looks about as pleasant as i normally do. but hey, i can only imagine the amount of pics he's taken with people. i'm sure it gets old after awhile.

but overall, we had a good time. it would've been better if we would've gotten there earlier (or after lunchtime) to see some of the guys working out in the shop. maybe even some discovery channel cameras. i did get to watch some wheels being cut in one of the cnc's though. that was neat.

it looks like we'll be heading up there again in the next few weeks. and who knows, some time in the near future we might actually do a car for him. we'll have to see how it plays out.....

Now either Snr isn't as big as he looks on the TV or you're a monster

he's definately not as big as he used to be, said he lost about 60 pounds. and after after i got sick awhile back, with all of the medication i was taking along with a bunch of inactivity, i've gained almost 40.

thats cool I have a pic like that when I met Jessy James, the are nice to take the pic but you get the feeling they couldnt care less. make sure he pay's cash his company is backrupt. but thats more than likely a plan to screw his son out of his share.
