Aluminium rim alternatives?

hey guys, im not really a fan of the technacraft designs, does anyone have any alternatives?

buggy/truck/pan

I see plenty of well made (and cheap) crawler wheels, surely there are other classes available

RC lohas had some aluminum wheels that had a Carbon look center piece.

technacraft rims are suitable designs for the period. for current cars...not so much

I agree their nice but I dont think their as nice as the money they bring. if I am going to pay that much for wheels their going on my 1:1 truck 8)

Is there really that many aluminum rims made for current buggies? I would imagine that there isn't. Really aluminum rims are only good for shelf sitters.

i have a set for a b4. they are basically one offs made by a guy over on oople. he done 2 different styles. one style looked like basically like the stock wheels but in aluminum. the second style looked about the same except it had some small round holes in them.

sadly i found these wheels to be a bit heavy imo even if it was just for a shelfer. my shelfers sit on a stand like a lot of others out there. the wheels i felt put way too much strain on the suspension while hanging there.
