Delta PORN

So my 1/12th collection has been steady over the last few years, but sadly void of any of my favorite R/C manufacturer of all time—Delta. I missed out on a NIP P12 Spyder a few years ago, and a couple of other beaters since then, but I'm a car snob, and I want things as perfect as I can find them.

So since I started collecting vintage 1/12th cars, I've acquired early NOS 12Ls, Trinity Revolvers, Corally C12s and the like, but have never found the right Delta cars. Until recently.


One seller had three cars for sale, plus a lot of spare parts—2 1/10th Villains (with the very rare IFS setup) and a P12 Spyder with the Super Phaser IFS, as well. There were also enough spares to build a complete second beam front or IFS Villain, sans tires. I managed to snatch up two of the cars, and the spares and they arrived a couple of days ago. Both cars were built as displays and never used before.

I'll have better photos of the cars after I clean them up a bit, but for now, here's a few pieces of the Delta jewelry that was in the lot...

I was just looking at these photos and wondering if you have built anything with the alloy parts yet. They are simply stunning.
