hey guys , here is an update... after spending countless hours on the body is finally done ready for the shelf... here are some pics, enjoy...

Your Optima looks great! nothing like a nice shiny new paint job

tell me about it, it sure brought back memories , that paint job was a PITA or maybe im just getting old...LOL!!! but i remember it was alot easier back in the days... now my neck hurts, my hands are not that stable and i cant see like before... yep im getting old but had a blast restoring this buggy.

Well I am sure if you ever get your hands on the 1st optima model and have to do that boxart paint job you will think the turbo was a breeze

Holy cow, such a beauty. You can't beat the looks of a 240S motor in the back of a Turbo!

Aw, those OT-66 tires.. Can't wait for Marwan to repo them. Mine are bald and I can't afford how much the OG go for these days.

Beautiful! It's almost a shame to hide that beautifully-polished chassis with that beautifully-painted body! I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too.

i got some Pectra sprint white, bright red and outlaw black , i would charge $40 bucks + paint to do this again, now im looking for a kyosho Ultima to do the same and restore it.

Great work. The Turbo Optima body is still one of my favorites. It looks fantastic on this chassis.
