i dont know if its the whole vintage thing but im slowly going backwards instead of forward and im using a lot more brushed motors (just killed my last bl system) have you guys found any good sites to still find a wide selection of parts and such. im at that point where i might even pick up a comm lathe and a brush cutter too.
ive found some stuff at tower and a-main but not enough considering ive got all kinds of funky motors

I don't know how good they are but they're one of the few places left that still sell brushed motor parts so I figured I'd post the link. Something tells me they don't actually manufacture any of it so you're probably safe in that regard.

I too find myself lately looking for more brushed motors. I was putting brushless in everything but nostalgia is winning, I am sure I will go back and forth.

A while back, Kyosho had a garage sale. I picked up a few bags of 100 brushes just for rebuilding my motors. I am thinking of grabbing a comm lathe too. I haven't been able to find a cheap source of springs, though.

ya know what i ran my 27x2 w/ a 5k lipo in my blue eagle sunday during practice and it was god awful slow but was a total blast! was out there for atleast 30 minutes before i brought the car in. there's a lot to be said about nostalgia and out driving a bunch of brushless slash 4x4's and rusty's that were out there goofing around. speed is overrated (says the guy who runs oval)
im picking up a bunch of old brushed motors from a local racer this saturday and i may be trying to haggle for his comm lathe too
