I would like to replace the brushes in my old Jade 15 Turn motor made by Trinity. I went to the local hobby shop and the kid there looked at me like I was crazy. He had no idea what I needed or where to find them. Does anyone know what brushes and springs I need ? Part numbers or info would be great.
Thanks Jason

If it's a Speed Gem or Speed Gem 2 it takes standard brushes. By any company.
If speed Gem Pro they take larger P-9 four brushes.
Look on e bay.

It doesn't say which one of those it is. A friend gave me a pair of Trinity 4380EPNT brushes but they are to big. Here is a picture of the motor I have , I found this online if it helps.

That takes standard brushes.
Venom ones should fit but check it out first just in case.

-You might want to stay away from hard or high silver content brushes. Softer brushes will be much easyer on the commutator. Depends if you are looking for performance or longevity of the armature. Softer springs will also help keep your motor alive lomger.

I have TONS of brushes is you wish. The high silver content brushes are very good for power, high temperatures, and brush life. However they are hard on the commutator. Softer or low silver brushes are better on the comm but usually wont last as long at peak performance. There ia always a trade off. LMK, and I will send you some brushes. -Jeff
