jrx-2 link variations

All the links I ever remember had holes on the 2 matching side to side(the short ones) links, and 4 shock mount holes on the bottom front to rear link.

I just recently got a set of links that is different. It is a nip set of links for one side, I don't have the part# handy, I'll post pics up tonight.

This set has no holes in the paired rear links, and has only 2 shock mount positions in the long lower link.

Does anyone know anything about this?

What is the point of the holes in the short side to side links? I was never able to figure out a purpose for those, but there must be a reason.

Thanks,
-Anthony

the links with two holes for the shocks are the earlier versions, then they added two others for more set-ups, the original side to side links (shortest) had no holes and the latest version had four holes, presumably for attaching an anti-roll bar... not sure about this last point, but it's the only answer my little brain could give me

I just bought a new in packet set of links for one side that has only 2 holes for shock mounting, too.
I've just ordered up a full set with 4 holes,so if anyone needs one set of side links with 2 shock mounting holes, they're here and aren't goin' anywhere, except back in their packet and into my parts bin.
