I didnt hear about it... I went to the Kyosho sale a couple of years ago. A lot of stuff was 1/2 of retail or less.

I went to the Kyosho one too. Got some neat stuff. I'm just wondering if this Hobby People thing is worth going to. It starts at 7 am deep in the OC.

I was going to go, but the 1:1 had to have brakes...even with my employee discount and self-installed, they were still $$$. 4 Rotors, Pads all around and rear shocks. All OE Ford. At least its not very often...

I couldn't make it. I was working the Anaheim ComicCon as press. So, I was close...but really busy.

Several years ago I went to MegaCon. I thought I would fit in, and I did but wow. It was a little bit too geeky for me.
During that trip I learned what the word sycophant meant.

I did not fit in at all. There were people there with some serious social ineptness. Holy Christ. The only reason I covered it was because of a few shows on the SyFy channel that I promote and because of the immense amount of boobage.

My wife makes fun of me for playing with toy cars. I would not survive if I was into going to Comicon. I would never live that down.
That is one place I would like to go at least once. It would just as fun as a super roller coaster, a surprise at every turn
Thanks for the picture.

I have serious social ineptness myself
(maybe thats why I fit in somewhat) but it obviously is a different kind than theres. Never in my life have I ever considered designing a poorly made costume to prance around a convention hall in it.

Sure, why not? Just an FYI, the backpack on the left in the pic belonged to some guy who kept babbling on about the Power Rangers. Plus, his "costume" was supposed to be the Flash??? It was one of Clark Kent's first tries with a superhero name before he settled on Superman. This is what I overheard, I have no idea if it's true.
