to say the least this build is a very rare one for myself as all the parts came together in around a month  talk about in the right place at the right time  an email came from this guy in denmark about jrx2 parts he had, we spoke about the price posted to australia and i was very happy  as there were many aftermarket rare part's and a heap of rim's. i bought a used jrx2 from the state's for the very reason of aquiring the uber rare lunsford racing trailing arm set (sorry david and anthony :) ) this lot came with a new rpm bulkhead and to my surprise the jrx2 was an early edtition :D this buggy was sold on ebay and the buyer turned out to live just up the coast from me 8)

upon opening the box from denmark to my surprise he had included a few extra item's which included the paper work for the lunsford trailing arms   so from the u.s came the white arm set and from denmark came it's instruction's it's amazing how this happen's i have to addmit and quite offten for me :)

the car isn't finished as i will be adding an aftermarket gearbox etc etc

anyway here is the build sheet

new x2 chassis
a&l ballraced steering
hammad ghuman shock bodies
jg mini bumper (thanks scr8p)
rcps titanium hinge pins(thanks scr8p)

Another 'Hot' looking JRX2!

Personally i'm not a huge fan of the clear HG shock bodies but the rest of the car is gorgous! Just got to get yourself a bodyshell painted in a suitably period scheme to finish her off! 8)

I love this image;

Looks like you could hook up some freshly peaked 1400 SCRs (peaked so they are almost red hot  ) & burn up the track with huge muddy rooster trails! 8)

Had to peak 'em at 12 amps or they didn't get hot enough, those were the days :D

Gaz, I pretty much only built the Losi's I built as a "homage" to the originals. I did build one with a selection of period hop ups - but only ones that I used back in the day. To be honest, I would never have been able to run so many hop up parts on one car back in the day mate!! I tend to only build cars as replicas of ones that I raced or that inspired me back then.

That thing of yours above is something that would have been a rarity even back then....so many hop ups! Truly a large and excellent selction of the brands of the day.

Cheers

Darryn

there are so many build's on here daz and i forgot about the modded one you built  your so lucky to have an extensive history with the rc community, i never had a great deal of car's and due to ebay/unreal forum's iv'e learnt so much about this top hobby.

a car like this would have been owned by a rich boy no doubt, and would have performed no better then an original. i used to love beating those guys around the circuit, sure you can relate

just love rare car's and part's 8)
