Just getting the car put together to see how things look. I may change out the front shock tower. Also the rear suspension feels weird. This is my first trailing arm car but the shocks feel like there packing. I don't know if the shocks have funky pistons in them or if its just the way these cars are. Anyway here are some updates. Now I'm waiting to find some parts for the steering.

Looking good, you've done a great job with this!

I too like the look of the Sassy Chassis w/ the trailing arms. If you weren't concerned with keeping parts original, I think it would be cool to get them anodized to match each other.

Just a thought, although it looks perfectly awesome as it sits.

Assuming your shocks are built correctly, no bent hinge pins, etc in my opinion trailing arm suspension type cars would benefit from having a ball type set up at the shock tops (Losi JRX2 style). You will find that the rear shocks do not swing on a single axis and do require some degree of 'float'....allowing it to pivot as it were. Loosen off the nut holding the shock top and you will see what I mean. You can use a more pliable bushing material rather than the Kyosho version you are using (fuel tubing comes to mind). Hope this has helped sweet build by the way

I have no idea. The ones on the tower I believe are A&L that came with the kit. The round buttons I got in a box of used wings I bought on ebay. There cool because they have set screws on both top and bottom.

Steering installed. I ran out of black ball cups. And the servo is pretty slow. Might have to swap that out.

I cheated to make the servo faster. Installed a longer servo arm and moved the bell crank ball to the inner hole.
