Chassis had all hex bolts, countersunk all screws to flatheads. Cleaned up chassis.
Chassis done in Blue Metalcast paint.

Aluminum servo posts I was going to leave them polished for contrast look. But decided to paint those also.

Those engines are awesome. Mine just finally died after 7-8 years of abuse. Tons of power, holds a tune very well, and durability is amazing. Took forever to break it in, but was well worth it.

Thanks! I would like to see it run too! Good to know these engines are very good. I'm planning to maybe install 18tb see what this baby can really do.

One thing I needed to do was to upgade the single disc brake system.

These items were less than $10 each on ebay.

Also upgraded the turnbuckles to Ofna 5x40 $5 a pair and corrected the steering turnbuckles.

The wheels as all USA-1 owner knows the chrome plating rubs off easily and these showed some rub off so decided to metalcast what I had left. Oh well.

Thanks! I decided to go with 18 tooth bells, 13 tooth seems too low maybe good for 1 engine, 18 should be good all around with tremendous top end. :o

Comparing between the 13 and 18.

Found these on Amazon sold by XShobby for only $4.50 each.

Dropped right in.
