Alternatives for broken servo saver?

So, my 5 year old daughter is pretty good at navigating the old RC10 around the yard. Her grandfather, not so much...

Due to an unfortunate accident, I now have a broken right side portion of the servo saver (#6255 in my original instruction booklet). I have seen some replacements on ebay, but I was wondering if there are any new parts that I could substitute for this.

I thought I saw a thread referencing servo saver part # 9155 (which is available on the team associated website), but I can't seem to find the thread again. Also, would one from a RC10T work (also available on ebay)?

Thanks for any advice you can provide.

A 10T Steering set-up will not work. The following parts are the "Updated" steering for the RC10. This set-up came standard on the GT,DS and T2 and will fit the RC10 buggy.

These two parts are discontinued:

And part# 9157 Servo Spring, There are some on ebay right now. http://marketplaceadvisor.channeladvisor.com/fullView.asp?sf=y&nb=1&id='246724386'&img=http://www.thetaworks.com/images/AW-MW-Pics/01312009-3lotbuy/P1090117.JPG

Check your LHS as associated did offer a full update kit for around $11 That included everything. I stil see them in hobby shops here and there.

since some of those parts are obsolete, and traxxas is everywhere, check out this link:

look at Greebo's post, where it has pictures and a nice writeup.

Thank you both for the info.

If I can't get some off ebay, it's good to know there are alternatives.

You can also go with the solid bellcranks and a kimbrough servo saver.

There are no such things as broken parts; only "opportunities to upgrade".
