Model Cars magazine review of the RC10. It cost £140 for the basic kit in the UK back then with a set of bearings costing £40, equates to £370 ($740) today! Mike Cannell who painted the body was more well known for painting slot car bodies and this was very much in his style with the fine fine borders separating the paint.

I know that they never made the production line, but does anyone know the manufacturer of those tires? I assume that these were off the shelf from some other company til AE could get their tooling straightened out with the production tires.
Thanks for posting Terry.

have you noticed the fiberglass battery straps, diamond wing buttons, double servo saver and rear shock spring retainers?

I think these might be the ones that Dr. Robotnik is referring to

, they are AJs and I got them from Scr8p a short time ago but you will see they are not quite the same.

Yeah, but the key is, do they have Goodyear in the side wall. I too have some of those AJs tires, but no Goodyear.

hey jay, disregard what i said a about those prolines in that pm. they say "proline" on the sidewall, not goodyear. i just figured that out.
as for those aj's i sold in the pic above, the only writing on the sidewall was "made in italy".
