some of you know where I live and who I am,for those who don`t, I am a spaniard expat. living in Japan. Everyday, every single day,anywhere, more than a person stares at me (no, the hair doesn`s grows in my face). But it is in way they do, like if they had seen an alien. I may stare at things (nice cars),at people (nice girls, I may even turn around to see..)but, I just can`t believe it.
`darling,today I`ve seen an alien, he was seated on the train in front of me` or ` he was buying milk in the 7 eleven`.

Maybe your can tell them, "do i have something on my face." just kidding Jose but if you have with you your yz10 i would certainly stare and drool over it...hahaha

not to mention that they don`t sit next to me in the bus. I just took a shower last year.

people are funny that way. i'm sure it would really annoying after a while, that is before or if ever you get used to it. I once worked in Cuba and stayed in a private house in Guanabo for about 10 days. I went to the beach on a Sunday...lets just I was the only white guy on a beach of several hundred cubans. Not only was there a slight skin tone difference, I don't think they see many Canadian tourist around their beach.

I wouldn't trade the experience for the world. I never treated anyone any different in my adult life and this experience reassured me that I was doing the right thing

VAE, The only problem was, you thought it was a nudist beach! The people were all pointing and laughing!

No seriously! I grew up in Jamaica. There are very few white people there but you get used to it after a while. I started my family there and the local kids would always want to touch my kids blonde hair, my wife thought it was cute, and it was!

legally blind in one eye and have to memorize the eye chart for work to pass. But I have never seen a alien.

Oh I see now, we're loosely talking about Xenophobia. On a slightly related note, over the passed 10 years I've gone to a lot of houses for my job and you'd be surprised how racist people are in the privacy of their own homes.

We have a policy to hate everyone equally when in our own home. Outside, we play by the rules?

there was a story i read many year's ago of a dark man whose pigment was changing due to an illness, many people think "white's" are racist. he couldn't believe the derogatory remark's coming from his own race so he told the world about it.
