Decided to drag this out after 15 years and start on it again ( took my time planning it 
). Long story short, It started back in '96 when I was wandering the Englishtown swap meet looking for parts for a '70 Camaro when I came upon a large box of nip Tamiya parts. After buying the box for $10 the seller stated they had tons more if I was interested. After exchanging phone #'s about a week later I was driving home with the contents of 2 hobby shops that went out of buisness. It took 2 trips, Alot of from my parents when I started dragging boxes in the house, and trying to figure out where I was going to put it all. With only room for my bed, a table and my stereo I decided to build something from the parts. I got the gearboxes built, mounted them in the chassis and then life became busy so everything was put aside. I moved out in 2003, got married, bought a house and had to move all of it again. Needless to say, I got more from the bride as I began filling the garage of our new home with plastic parts trees. In time, after spending countless nights and hearing "what are you doing down there!", I got most of it orginized. Once again life got busy and the parts went untouched. In late 2007 work in the commercial building trade started to drop off and jobs where getting hard to find. I had alot of un-planned free time and found my way back into the hobby and back into the garage. Work picked up again but I managed to stay with this great hobby and I've been building, selling, building, buying(hoarding) ever since and just love it.
Well enough of that, Here is what I have so far. I've added some Thorp knuckles, ball connectors and drive shafts. I disassembled both gearboxes and added full bearings. Decided to go with the stock speed control ( I couldn't get over how overstuffed everything is in that small ass plastic tray). I'm working on the original yellow shocks and looking for a pro-track nerf bar set I have. More to come as I find more bits.
