Saw an old beat-up 12i on the bay, looked like a nice little set-up, snatched 'er up. Here's the bay pic:

Both servos work! Receiver does too, but not well enough to use. Motor the same. Resistor is shot. Maybe I'll try that radio someday.... but for now... into the drink...

That's better. A good scub but no peroxide, I want this car to look nice 'n' old. Grabbed some prolines offa the bay. Wouldnt mind restoring those wheels, what do you soak those in to remove the old tires? Never did a 1/12 bitd, bit of a noob.. :

Cleaned up the metal bits, now to assemble:

My Igarishi I got somewhere... This thing runs great in my gold tub, go figure.

New pinion, time for the diff...

Alllmost there.....

Done for now. Really happy with the gaffer's tape for the servo and battery. Argh, just one deans connector short, I'll have to redo the wiring correctly. And I don't know why the camera angle makes it look like toe-out. Optical illusion! Now to find a big carpeted expanse for some test runs. 8) As always, thanks to 10talk for the inspiration. Hope you enjoyed!
