rc10 bomber runs

I was talking with a local member about tracks in the Tampa area and mentioned SS Hobbies. I had not been over to the track in years and recalled my first meeting with Ronnie (owner) and family back in 2007. This site prompted me to check out local tracks in an effort to form a vintage class. Ronnie welcomed the idea and before meeting again had hauled out his modified original rc10 in need of repair. They are good, friendly people supporting the rc community. More importantly the Setser's give back via charity and fundraising events.
Here is a pic of our early effort at a vintage revival. Sadly, two of the three rc10s are mine. My childhood cadillac (center) and the $35 rc10 with a buggy front end (right). The sweet original (left) belonged to Greg, the photographer who took most if not all of the fantastic photos on the site. Too bad he couldn't take photos and run the vintage class at the same time. The guy in the back right is Chris (me) http://www.ronniesetser.com/ssr_gallery/SS_Hobbies_and_Raceway/Dirt_Oval/Run_what_you_brung_6-03-07/index2.html
Still laughing about the photo, I drove over to check things out. Turns out there is a bomber class that many of you are probably aware off... 2wd buggies with bomber bodies. WOW, was this class made for the original rc10 or what???
