G'day Guys
Tried doing a search, but couldn't find anything.
is there a how to on this Site on installing a stealth tranny to replace the standard 6 gear tranny?
All I know is that I need to drill my chassis to suit the stealth, other than that, is it just a direct swap? Is there any extra parts i need?
Any help would be most appreciatted
regards
Jak

drill holes, bolt in stealth. make sure you have a stealth trans brace, too.

Scr8p is right on.... and I am doing the same thing, and in my travels I did find this that will make things easier to drill the holes for the stealth.
Thanks again to ROH73 for doing this, keeping it, and then posting it up. Very helpful stuff and much appreciated.

Hi Gaz
I don't think it was my radio gear, I think it was more like the 20 year old steering servo in the car...........

same for my Wild One & Sand Rover, they still have the 20+ year old steering servo's
I would prefer my RC10 to also "sound" like everyone elses, mine is noisier with the 6 gear as apposed to all the stealth Rc10's

I did the same swap with my Cadi 6 gear buggy. But, I had a newer "B" chassis to use as a demplete. I just laid them bottom to bottom and traced the holes for the stealth onto the "A" chassis then center punched, drilled and counter sunk. Worked like a charm. But i guess this only works if you have the two different chassis.

get a piece of cardboard and make a template, testfit the cardboard, then use it to drill the holes. This way you dont mess up the car, and if you make a mistake, well its only cardboard
