In the same way that there is a MMV Buggy build off, I thought it might be a good idea to also have a truck build off with similar rules.

This should make our builds more fun and add extra motivation to them.

Rules are:

1. Truck must be 1/10 scale.

2. Entries accepted until the end of June 2011.

3. Build must be complete by the end of September 2011 (Builds can already be started).

4. Winner will be decided by a member poll, no prize, its just for fun.

5. Only the first 10 entrants will be accepted (based on the final poll). Reply to this thread to gain entry.

6. Entrants must prefix their build thread with 'MMV Truck Challenger'.

7. No box-art or restore builds, the truck must be vintage with modern parts added, custom fab is encouraged, but not required.

Right I'm in then as I've already started for the buggy MMV, but it's a truck, looks like I'll have to start a buggy build as well!!

I've updated my first post with links to entrants & their threads...

I'd like to take part in this build-off. As with 90% of my builds, I'm planning an on-road/oval truck, so I hope that's cool with you guys.

I'll throw in on this. I'll be starting with this http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=18347. It's not going to be radical or anything but I'm going to strip it down and rebuild it with a black "B" stamp I have laying around. And it will be a runner.

If you allow for monster trucks, count me in. I'm building a super customized (but true to original form) Juggernaut. I've got plenty of custom made parts on it.
