Putting a buggy together using a T2 pan and was wondering what bodys fit well. Preferably some that are currently available. Pics would be great. Thanks

J82 shell, unless you shorten the chassis-

Noob question. what is a j82? I was planning on shortening the wheelbase a little bit. need to get suspension on it first so I know what it actually is.

J82 is a truck based buggy shell made by Jconcepts- it allows you to run your truck as a buggy with truck tires on larger (1/8) tracks, but the body is longer to fit the longer wheelbase. If you cut your chassis back, then any buggy shell will work depending on the front tower-

It just dawned on me that I never specified that this was for a buggy with the T2 pan. I apologise for that.

Yes you did, you just didn't say if you were shortening the chassis or not

unless you shorten the chassis, you will still need a longer body though. the chassis needs to be trimmed back about 0.4" if I remember what I measured correctly.

if you mount a noseplate to the t2 tub in the front (short wheelbase) set of holes, you can use the 3 rear holes as a drill template. they'll be right where they need to be for a buggy length t2 tub. one nice thing, the nose brace tube holes are already in the chassis from the factory.

That was what I had in mind. seems simple enough.
