,the old it was a gift line (from me) had already noticed it still in the box uncharged 8) since Christmas 8) 8)
so now im the proud owner of 12 meg camera a great leap from my old broken one which managed 5meg .

had the same experience with my cannon, refusing to believe that i need to buy my wife another camera, i bought the lens from Ebay, cost me around $70 buks. You may try to buy the lens and DIY. it saves you from throwing away the camera and also buyinh a new one that will cost you big buks.

Hey, people pay big bucks for a lens that can tilt!

Tilt-lens photos are the craziest things. They make real sized things look like miniature dioramas.

Here's a photo of a real life beach scene, using a tilt shift lens:

However, yours may not quite work as well as that. :P

Oops, I should have mentioned that was not my pic... just used one I found one the web to use as an example.
This is why I don't own a tilt shift lens!

The thing was a good camera but i wont miss the short battery life, cinder block features ,and it was always temperamental when plugged into the computer .LOL

Wherever you get your new camera from, let's hope they return your emails and make sure you're satisfied with your purchase. Know what I'm saying?

Earlier this year I got a Canon G12. Best little camera I've ever owned.

Nope, not mine. Totally awesome though, right? It's a really cool camera trick. If you type in "tilt shift" on youtube you can find all kinds of cool videos. Like these. 8)

I love things that alter the way we are able to view common occurances, amazing- feeling a bit dumb that this is the first I have heard of it though.

I think similar results can be obtained on any digital still photo using photoshop. My wife found some a year or so ago on Flickr of the NC State Fair. When she showed me I thought someone had built a REALLY good model scene... Of course, what cannot be done using photoshop....
