Great find! Estate sales are goldmines sometimes. My friend Barry (Raborn, of Bullet Racing Products and Raborn Racing), found a new in box still plastic wrapped Edinger, and a new still sealed in box Kyosho Optima Mid at an estate sale. He paid $25 for each one! Now they are just sitting in his closet.

wow, nice find! The estate sales where I live suck big time...oh, wait a second, there are none because family members of estate sales hoard everything because people around where I live are greedy and poor. I got to move to Cali

That's a great find! I come upon things around here every once in a while. Last year I grabbed 5 cars for a pittance of craigslist. The key is being in the right place at the right time...and you never know when that's going to be. That's what makes it fun!

Right? I find that I want a car so badly... until I get a hold of one. Then I'm like , "meh, that's done with" For me it's definitely 75% about the 'thrill of the hunt'

Great find btw! What's an estate sale? is it when the owner of a house dies? Or is it more like a garage sale?

estate sale is your allowed to walk in the house and everything is for sale. Walked in a room and there it was on a shelf, full of dust. Had to keep looking for the box, which I found.

I know what you mean. Like the saying goes, you always want what you don't have.

I could never afford A RC10 when I was a kid. Now I can say I finally got my brand new RC10 and remote new from 1984!
