Jrx2? buggy truck? Identification

Got this one not so long ago.
It has some after market parts on it.
Hopefully you guys could identify all of the optional parts.
Not too familiar with the trucks yet..

Looks like a JRX2 with steering from A&L, MIP gearbox, Pro SE swept front arms and h arm rear conversion.
Pics are kinda dark cant tell much else. Looks like a nice buggy though.

chassis: jrx2
battery cup: jrx pro /pro SE / junior 2 / junior t
front bunper: jrxt
rear body mount: probably something made by JG
front arms: pro SE
Rear arms: jrx pro /pro SE / junior 2 / junior t
shock towers (f&r): jrx pro
shocks (f&r): jrxt
bell cranks: A&L...mounted backwards, the "L" should be on the other side
transmission: MIP with the slider set up
motor plate is a stock losi, but it was cut becasue the MIP trans doesn't fit well.
tires: proline 1050 (striker 2.2)
wheels: I'm guessing that these are prolines
You may want to check the diff...from the picture, I can see that's set just a bit on the tight side.

this truck was on ebay, good pick up mate! the rims are alloy correct? enjoy the rebuild

Yes, it was.. It has alloy rims on it.
How would i start restoring this one with all the mixed parts on it?
Any tips or comments would be great.

just strip it down, and clean up all the part's. replace what you can afford/find with new if you desire. sure you will be surprised with just a general tidy up on the end result.

looks awesome, was watching it on Ebay... i saved all the pics too, but would love to see it cleaned and restored.
my opinion... i would keep it just like that, with a new XT body. the X2 chassis is a little shorter then the XT, but the body should still fit in proportion. nice catch!

Thats what i thought too clean it up then maybe find a body for it. Have to check if it needs some parts when i dis-assemble it.

Have to learn more from this truck.
What i liked on this was the alloy rims...
For some reason alloy rims looks very attractive to me.. lol....
I have a Jrx2 buggy too..

Nice ride. I'm in the process of restoring a jrx-pro and the cost has become a nightmare. You have a Frankenstein so it would prob cost too much to make it back to whatever it was. I would do a complete tear down and clean it, but leave it the way it is. Ive got the same rusty turn buckles. I tried CLR to clean them up, but new ones are reasonably priced. Plus you can get a screw kit http://www.rcscrewz.com/product_info...oducts_id/3441 . Although personal preference, I'm an off road buggy guy. I would it convert it back to a buggy and ad a buggy body. Looks like youre going to have fun whichever way you go. Would enjoy seeing pics after the restore.

Are the screws that mount the A&L steering post to the chassis larger then the stock losi screws?

KV - yes to mount the A&L bellcranks, the holes had to be opened up and countersunk for 8-32 screws. Although, I know Anthony (Aconsola) drilled a set of cranks out to take bearings, and mounted them on the stock posts. I'll try and fond the thread for ya'.

My mistake that was for RPM cranks, but IIRC the A&Ls have the same issue w/ requiring a drill and countersink..
