I have asked a few of you on here this question. I would like to get a vote from the rest of you.I have had 3 sets of RPM A-arms for my JRXT and they rub a little bit on the chassis where they connect to the front bulkhead. In the past, I have just sanded a little of the A-arm but I won a JRXT off of ebay and someone had notched out the chassis with a dremel tool which to my serprise, It looks really good. So, which do you vote for, sand dowm the arm or notch out the chassis? Thanks

what if u raise the bulkhead with shims, or make a spacer plate out of Kydex?

i just shaved a "little of both" bulkhead and chassis to fit an ano blue aluminum (Trinity?) NXT front bulkhead, to fit a JRXT chassis. had to spray it black to match

Great idea on the shims/spacer!!!! I'll give that a try....Thanks I hate sanding or notching anything. Im sure it dont, but I feel like it makes it week.

I have sanded the edge of the chassis to get the rams to fit. Not that much material needs to be removed...and it can't be seen since the majority of the bulkhead covers it.

The original jrx2 bumper mounted between the chassis and the front bulkhead....so the idea of shimming it has been around. The only problem by raising the front bulkhead is that it caused the tie rods (on the steering rack) to pop off after a hard frontal hit. That's why losi redesigned the bumper.

That's what I have done with rpm/andys/robinson arms. all need a little chassis trimming to have free movement. you can't really see it once everything is bolted up.

A bit of sanding on the arms and chassis is standard procedure for me. If done right you can't see it. I have needed to do this with RPM or Andy's on various builds.
