When does lexan become art?

I just got done watching "The Last Unicorn(1982)" with my 5 year old daughter. As always I was mostly thinking of vintage r/c the whole time.

Being from 1982 it was true animation, not the computer based stuff you see today(although I do love that). Some of the frames were just visionary.
Of course that led me to think about the most beautiful paint ever laid down on lexan, polycarbonate or plastic.
Let's see some examples. Your own or anyone's. All styles welcome please.
Not mine obviously.
Another, not mine.

(Eau Rouge)

That's a great movie. I saw it many times when I was a younger lad, and even a few times as an adult. I haven't seen it in quite a while though, I'll have to watch it again soon. Thanks for the reminder!

I'm glad you posted that pic because after watching it I assumed that maybe the Red Bull energy drink name was linked to the red bull in the movie, but they really don't reference each other in any way. Or at least they didn't in the 5 minutes I spent searching it after I watched the movie.

Anyway, I agree it is a pretty cool movie. Much darker than the mainstream animated movies made today.

According to the website they do anodizing as well. I wonder if they would attempt color matching?
