Cannot find an original and wondering if there are any that are close to the orignal style by some manufacturer?

I recently built up an old Big Brute for my son. I used a Jconcepts F250 body, even though it’s really not that close to the original body it fits good and didn’t require any body mount modifications.

What did you have to do in order to run those wheels? I'm slowly turning one into a puller but am stuck on the axles. I'm trying to find ones that will fit and accept a 12mm hex.

The guys at my local hobby shop were nice enough to let me rummage through their parts selection to find a combo that will work.

I used these hexes…

That looks great and nice info on the wheels. I just scored a decent set of original wheels and tires after a long hunt actually a complete pretty nice brute that with all my other parts it should come together nice. Of all my race cars as a kid some of my favorite memories were bashing around in the yard with my Brute.
