Very nice! Are you using stainless or aluminum screws there? These are such cool cars. I love Optimas of all kinds!

It's coming along very nicely, Ruben! To answer RedScampi's question, those look like stainless steel RCScrewz screws, I'm guessing that as I see some RCScrewz plastic boxes and the hex heads. The original steel screws were all Philips heads.

I think it looks kinda "snooty" without a bumper...and since that chin skid-plate is one of the weakest points on the T.O., I wouldn't want to run it without a bumper.

I like it alot.
I agree with Marc needs a bumper, my T/Op has a cut down bumper ( Not by me ) But looks ok.
That 13t D is a power house especially with Li Po's. Very hard on the internal gears. Hope you have a Hard Final pinion in that>
I highly recommend a tamer motor like a 19t. Funny the Le Mans in the T/Optima kit was a 19t single. Mine is very quick with a 19t on the track. Like you has the Belt drive too.
Love the Black and white.
Very nice.

Great looking car! You didn't waste any time with that. It took me like 4 months to build my last car and I still haven't painted it.

i was going to run a NIMH 8.4v with that motor... is that to much? or should i still go with the 19T motor and 8.4v instead?

What's the kV of the motor? Multiply that by the number of volts of your battery and you'll have the RPM. You can compare that to the hottest motors of yesteryear to see whereabouts it stands. The Le Mans 240SB was one of the fastest motors used with these cars, and put out 30,000 RPM on 8.4V. That should give you a guideline.
