JConcepts at R/C Excietment in Fitchburg, Ma who is going?

Fresh from the VONATS I am all fired up and want to get in some more racing. There is a huge race in my hometown, JConcepts Fall Nationals. If I can secure a personal transponder, I might be breaking out the RC-10 for another run.
Who else will be there with a RC-10?

I already registered for Mod 2wd....
C-main here I come....
The 17.5 class does look enticing though, I can run my RC10, it's still ready to go....

Signed up tonight for 2wd modified, and Short Course modified. Just hope they have a transponder when I get there.

Why not sign up for 17.5 buggy class?? That's what Im prolly gonna enter for as my second entry with my RC10....

I don't have a 17.5 brushless motor(I will before next years VONATS), I do however have a 10.5. My SC10 was a RTR and it came with a 13.5, so I had no choice but to enter mod.
Back in the 80s I raced mod, can't be much different

Oh I see, I signed up for 17.5 and looking to kick but with my Vintage RC10....
I'll be racing my B4.1L (Beastie) with an LRP 9.5 in Mod 2wd....
C main here I come....

Their website says they have enough 2wd mod buggy to have an e-main, which I am sure i will be in.
I just hope I get there earlier enough to get a personal transponder.

Got to the track late today, but I was able to get about 15 minutes on my RC-10 and 15 on the SC10. The new layout is very technical. Hope I can get used to it by the time of the mains. Very loose too.

What were you using for tires?? Barcodes/Barcodes in blue compound or Bk/Tapers in pink work great there...

green holeshots.
I also had the battery moved as far forward as possible(96mm). I moved it to the back to see if that helps.
Might get some more practice time Wednesday.

I just read on R/C Excitement's page they have increased the cut off to 300. This is going to be a huge weekend.
Might need to bring my own table to pit on. Maybe even pit outside with my 1983 CJ-7, and then it would feel like a vintage race, kinda.

Imma go there early tomorrow, hopefully I can reserve 6 spots for the guys from RCE.
Bk Bars/Taper or Blue Barcodes all around are the tires of choice.
I'm still debating whether or not to paint 2 new bodies.....
