Lohas wheel question

So my set of gorgeous Lohas wheels arrived today. First off, they are fricken amazing. If you were on the fence, go now and buy a set, totally worth it.
For those that have a set, what did you do in the rear wheels on the outside? Where the bearing would normally go, it's pretty loose so I figured you'd need a bushing or something in there. Or can I just tighten up a nut on there and not worry about it?

I used a brass bushing, I'm not sure of the size but i think it was from a RC10 rebuild. I know not much help lol

I have the Hurricane wheels:

I guess I can just get a 5/16" bushing with a 3/16" centre for the rear wheels unless someone can give me a different suggestion.

Yeah I think I used a (flanged) bush from an RC10 front wheel, its still a 100% snug fit on the shaft, but it becomes secure when the wheel nut is tightened up

I also used the brass bushing but I still had a ton of play on one side from the inside hex adaptor. The fronts were also very, very loose on the B3 FT front axles even with bushing and spacers.
I sent the entire buggy (trusting the US post office) to a very friendly forum member who custom made me some beautiful spacer/hex inserts for the front and he also built new hex inserts for the rear. If the car weren't a shelfer, it would have no issues running these wheels with a hot brushless setup and pounding through turns now. But it's a shelfer!
I agree the wheels are beautiful, but the fitment issues require some creative strategies to overcome and get rid of any wiggle.

Just wondering what others may have done? I tried some flanged bearings from the front wheels and they work ok once it's tightened up but I'd prefer it if there wasn't any play at all.

I remember this issue being discussed in one of the Lohas threads. If you feel like searching it contains fixes that others did.

I finally took the plunge and bought a set I have to agree they are very nice, except for the fitment issues. I too used a flange brass bushings.

I always wonder if they would fit, 2mm thinner hexes would have been perfect.
