Rulux rims on a GT?

Can anyone confirm that JConcepts Rulux rims for the T4 will fit my GT (it's not a GT2) with the same offset . The parts nos. are 3312 front and 3315 rear. They look bitchin. Thanks.
not to argue with Reggie but some of the rtr's had 1/4" axles. I had 4 new ones out of the LHS and 2 had 1/4" and 2 had 3/16". These all were the first rtr blue flat chassis with the small nose tube holders. All of my FTGt had 3/16" factory direct and all ended up 3/16" in the end.cautrell05 wrote:Did the early GTs have the stepped 1/4 inch axle out back or were they all 3/16 from the get go?

No wonder it's been such a PITA fitting wheels to mine over the years. Mine must have been 1/4" because I had to constantly drill out wheels to get them to work.klavy69 wrote:not to argue with Reggie but some of the rtr's had 1/4" axles. YUP. Both sets!klavy69 wrote:Did you have to drill out your monster wheels like that thumber?
The world will stop turning the day AE switches to 12mm hex rims.klavy69 wrote:Arf. No matter what size its easy enuf and cheap enuf to change out your axles if you have the wrong size. I'm a tire guy so something like that is easy in my mind...as long as the other voices in there keep to themselves![]()

I could have swore that the very first GT was a 1/4, three piece wheel with dogbones and stubs, instead of the solid 3/16 wheel and universals too, but all of my reference material only shows the latter-klavy69 wrote:not to argue with Reggie but some of the rtr's had 1/4" axles. Are you putting truck rims on a buggy to make it wider? If so, here are your choices, all of the 2.2 size:Constant wrote:Hey guys was wondering what tires I should put on the Black jconcepts rulux rims? Something along the lines of offroad and onroad but mostly on road... Badlands? or summit tires? I already have buggy tires and the gpm tires... I want the rulux because it'll make the wheel base wider...
I love the way the Masher 2000 looks, but they're pretty high profile so beware steering throw issues depending on the body you use. Here they are on my HPI RS4 MT(possibly the least catchy name in R/C historyarf wrote:Are you putting truck rims on a buggy to make it wider?
