How strong is a stealth?

Simply put what are the survival chances of running my 76 ounce RC10T converted shortcourse with a 10.5 mod motor? It currently has a 17.5 and has been holding up fine so far. I was planning on running the novak special in omaha in january and emailed ROAR about running in the stock class with my truck. The official ruling is that because its not a production chassis I have to run in the mods. My two options are stay home or throw a mod motor in it and see how long it lasts. I know the stealth is strong but I have my doubts with an almost 5 pound truck and a healthy brushless motor. Whats the general opinion out there? Thanks
Nick

I have been racing my 10t with a locked slipper, and enough traction to wheelie at any speed with a boosted 10.5 and a non boosted 8.5- no failures yet

6.5 in mine seems ok.... i'm running the B4 slipper assembly but haven't used the original item to compare.

10.5 in my Rc-10 without any issue, but I would recommend you purchase a couple idler, and diff gears to be on the safe side.

Thanks guys. Looks like I was being a bit over cautious. I just dont want to drive 2 hours down there and kill it right off the bat. Is the slipper just more durable? I havent had any problems with the original one yet. Its pretty much locked out anyway.
