Nice Scorpions! This was my first rc car w/posi. Restoration is in progress, albeit slow. I'll post some pics after she moves out of the box of parts stage.

Here are a couple more of my Scorpions!
This is a mint never ran new out of box Scorpion. The front tires have never been glued and the body has never been painted.

This one is a Cox version.
This is a Turbo Scorpion I have partially restored. I have since put one of my Aluminum Wings on this one and have made a differant roof panel for it.
And here is my Kyosho Beetle. It is mint out of the box. I still have the orignal uncut Decal sheet for this as well. This one is actually a Cox version as well.
And a bigger pic of the Star Spangled Scorpion.
Knucklebuster I want to see some pics of your Scorpion Resto in progress. Toss a few of them on this thread!

ooooooh, too sweet... all of them.
Liquorboxracing, I'll post some pics asap. I'm pretty sure you know what a box of parts looks like so I will at least begin assembly before posting pics. I refinished the chassis parts but have not touched the rims and tub. Also need to contact Kamtec.
How could I forget... I did touch the rims. They were boiling hot while I gently worked those old Goodyear tires off front and rear. The tires were super duper uber glued. As a matter a fact I worked to roll those old tires off the rims for about 2 hours all told. Boil, roll, boil, roll... you get the idea. No tears. I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGAS!

would goldrc10 rear axles and drive pins work with the scorpion? I'm thinking of trying it when i get the chance...then mount 2.0 rims and not the 1.6 that come with the scorp and those retarded silver friction hub/rim thingys

I think what knuckle means is a solid spool axle instead of anything with a diff. An optional gear diff was offered by Kyosho. A few manufacturers made ball diffs. I have one made by thorp in my scorpion
