what do you mean by the newer style? Are you talking quick change rears or rulux or ? Or are you asking about 3/16" vs. 1/4" rears? Just a quick bearing and axle change in the rear is all you need to change axle sizes depending on if you have cvds or dogbones. All newer wheels have the same offset as the older ones. Fronts are same so nothing needs to be done. If you are talking about quick change rears that involves a lil more parts but not much. Let us know and I'm sure someone can help...

sorry about that we are talking about installing 3/16 cvds. and installing newer style 2.2 rims. or is there an easier way to convert the 1/4 dogbones and run 2.2 rims. and then what would i do in the front? change spindles out or just bearing replacement and newer rims? thanks for the help

best way to do it is pretty much like you said. Drop in some cvds in the rear with 3/16" axles plus the needed bearings and front you just need bearings if you don't allready have them and newer rims. Offset are all the same as long as you are using AE wheels or wheels meant for AE.

its simple haha not really

but convert your axels to 3/16 change the bearings to 3/16x3/8 and buy the t4 rims and any 2.2 truck tire rims and u will be able to run modern rims and tires i hopw this helps
