Lubricating the stealth?

I am in the process of rebuilding my stealth and was curious about the lubricants used. I know the thrust bearings are supposed to have the black grease and the stealth diff lube on the diff. I know the top shaft, idler, and outer diff gear are not supposed to be lubricated but I have heard that the black grease makes the gears last longer and run smoother. I also found that the trans had been lubed with black grease in the past (it has all been cleaned off now). Any thoughts?

you pretty much had it up to the last part with the black grease on the gears. No need. They are self lubricating. If anything I would think it would harm/slow down your tranny...

thanks
I had just read on some other forums that black grease or Tamiya's ceramic grease might help to preserve the gears. I think that manufacturer specifications are probably best.
