- Early "Edinger" RC10 with Tecna shoes & Novak goodness -

Hey guys, I scored this one a few weeks ago for a pretty good price, I just couldn't resist even though I already have a never run early Edinger (see here) and a few other partial cars. While both cars were most definitely produced at the Edinger facility, there are some differences that once again tend to prove that the production there was not really consistent when coming to details and part design changes/modifications. For example you can see that #1 (which I beleive is a later version than #2, mainly because #1 has a Cadillac manual, ball cups with hex portions, no clip inside the tranny...) has rear Goodyear tires while #2 has no Goodyear tires at all, which means that the tires are not a good markup to tell the earliness of an Edinger car. As a result, I think it is better to rely and focus on real enhancements that were brought to the car (nut or clip inside the tranny, rear box art or solid spring cups, ball cups with or without hex portions, addresses of manual and box) rather than for example tire differences (presence or not of a Goodyear logo). Here is a quick comparison (fields in blue differ between the two versions):
