Hey all, here is my oldschool 12L. She will be running again soon and will make a video. I will also clean her up a bit since last run in the early 90's  I just think I may be in a need for some new tires. Everything else seems intack besides old grease and a bit of dirt. I will show more photos soon.

Looks good 8) I have a couple of those 12's  The only suggestion I can think of besides basic clean-up is upgrading the front axels to the lunsfords - the Asso clips that hold the wheels in place can get annoying  I have 2 sets of these, they're great!

If you want to use your standard axle and run some new Tires and wheels you can try out RC4Less's tires they can be used with the two bolt or three hubs. Check here - http://www.rc4less.com/product_info.php?cPath=2&products_id=76&osCsid=03c9abbb4e861e7526cc0fd5f4efdf2d

Hope your RC12 gets to rolling again soon.

many thanks for your advice and tips,

I will look into them. And after I get new electronics will get those products also. Still trying to dig up my old Sanyos. But I have a feeling I will find my mystery box with all my other old parts as soon the Holiday decorations get set up and can get access to the storage area :).

Now how would a 12L run with new electronics and brushless motor with LIPO? I have a feeling I would need a downforce wing of somesort just incase it took air.

I don't have any experience with the 12's and lipo/brushless, but I did upgrade to decent 1" turnbuckles up front with the small 4-40 ballcups :D
