I'm pretty anal about keeping my stuff looking new and decided to apply 3M Carbon Di-Noc to the bottom of my RC10 CE.

From the 3M website:
"3M™ DI−NOC™ Films are durable, cleanable, flexible PVC films with 3M’s Comply™ Adhesive air release channels for fast, easy and virtually bubble−free application. Use DI−NOC film in place of or to enhance natural materials. These films have excellent adhesion and flexibility, allowing them to be used indoors or outdoors on flat or complex curved substrates, walls, furniture and fixtures."

I've seen this done before, but with clear vinyl. Came out pretty nice and very very easy to work with. Nice carbon fiber touch.

Where can you get this? I'm thinking this would be a great way to 'fix' my RC10 graphite chassis.

I got it off ebay, 1'x5' for $23 shipped. Enough for sure to do 10 Rc10s.

I don't know what you mean by fix. But it would for sure cover the scratches. All it is is vinyl that has the texture and look of carbon fiber.

Yeah I was thinking it could keep my chassis scratches to a minimum and restore the look of it to like new

I've used this stuff to wrap a charger, looks pretty good. Works for my bike too as a chainstay protector. :)

I bought a roll of this at Canadian Tire but I am hesitant to use it. It looked like CF in the package but when I opened it was just textured vinyl. Looks kind of cheap and certainly not up to any kind of running. Looks OK for a shelfer though. I may still try it but I am leaning more towards CF veneer.
