Another problem solver car.

I've been needing a set of stock length white RPM rear buggy arms for some time...with no luck finding...for a Team Car World's 91 that was going to be black tub based. Really, I have everything but the darn arms...
And then this popped up.
I probably paid too much, but this solves my World's '91 problem nicely and provides a nice clean stock front end for another car. I
will cut the nose down since the rear has already been cut for the W91 rear setup.
Thanks to badhoopty for inspiration (an RPM truck front bumper will cover the holes nicely, I figure):

It's got tires I need for other projects... a set of Lunsford/RCPS turnbuckles, two pretty not horrible looking bodies, a good 6036 box, etc etc.., basically the whole deal solves a bunch of problems. I love it when that happens!
Plus it's
another graphite car...like I needed another one...
I'll put the Losi wheels on the block once I've gotten the tires removed if anyone wants them.

That is one sharp looking ride. I like it

You English chaps need some trucks!

Aren't they rare in the UK?
I
might have a Graphite car going spare soon... Let's see what this one looks like in person first.
I think it's JR who has these two listed:

I have trucks:
Just not graphite buggies

Which makes me think - why didn't they make a Graphite 10T?
Thanks for the heads up on the links too!

They probably didn't figure it was worth retooling for a graphite truck chassis when the team drivers by then had reverted back to the tub chassis in almost all cases.
Just my thought.

I think instead of solving a problem, you just created one. that buggy looks in too nice of shape to hack up. I predict you will keep this the way it is and start back on your search for some arms.

We will see when it shows up. It has already been hacked for the rear RPM setup, so I probably won't feel too bad about doing the front...

Look carefully at the pics.

Well, it showed up...

I had nicely asked the seller (the same one mrlexan got his green truck from) to pack the box and everything else in an outer box...he must've forgotten to do that as it showed up in the 6036 box with a shipping label slapped on it...
Anyhoo, it's not too bad in person, the nose is as nice as I've seen (thanks to a layer of chassis protector and an RPM front bumper). Shame to cut it, but oh well...the rear is already cut. If you'll notice in the rear picture, the rear bumper appears homebrewed due to how thin it is... it's actually a real rear bumper that has been sanded to about half it's original thickness (there's still gold showing in the slots).
I'll put up some pics in the next day or so, I've already gotten all the servotape/chassis protector goo removed and started a basic cleanup.
Not bad, but I did pay a bit too much for it...

I'll have some 1/4" axle RC10 specific Losi 2.15" XX type rear wheels available soon if anyone wants them...

After a little cleanup, but before "nose surgery"...

A better view of the rear... I need to ditch the black RPM ballcups in favor of probably white Associated ones...although I think the black RPM actually were available at the time... the white RPM didn't come until a few years later, I think. Same with the gear covers... and didn't RPM never make white servo mounts?
Can someone confirm this?

Is that what they are...? The sidewalls are unmarked, but they fit 2" TQ rims ok... and were in good shape, plus already glued...
I'm a Losi idiot...

dude, put down the purist pipe...
white rpm stuff in regards to rc10 parts is older than the black stuff. they made a global change in parts around the time the team car was out. i even have bags with white team car arms that have black ballends in the bag.
i would get white rpm ballends btw.
cool rig dude.

mmmmm.. just gotta love graphites. They were quite unpopular in the UK due to the Tubs sealing a lot better round the body and offering more protection.
You just never see them on UK eBay.
