While I have been busy getting my latest MID up and running i remember i bought these option parts when i was racing my T/Optima than MID.

The one way was very expensive in it's day. Around 125.00 i think. A weeks wages. It's made by SRM and fits inside the diff case of the Optima, The grub screw holds the drum in place and slots in the groove where the star gears fit.

I used it once and pulled it out straight away as the Optima had no grip at the front as the tires were crap back than.

The spur hub adapter is made by Bimod Engineering in the U.K . I was in desperate need of higher gearing for the Mid and couldn't get any bigger pinions in kyosho's unique pitch on the mid.
managed to source this nice gear adapter that lets you use Schumacher's spur gears in 32 pitch. The original CAT used these spurs.

My Mid also has a Brimod lwb conversion that helped alot.

Anyone else knows of Brimod & SRM??

I have at least one, maybe 2 of those one-way units that came out of 2nd hand cars. I also remember people using them on their mids bitd, but nothing more: too long ago. For spur adapters I have one made by trinity and one made by parma. You used them together with the original parts and they let you mount the kind of spurs that ere universal to most cars with changeable spurs from them (except shumacher ;) )

That question was asked 14 years ago. Mad Racer hasn't logged in for about 7 years.
