I`ve just come across a hydra drive for my XX, and looking at the manual it say`s to fill with A-3126 fluid. Is this just a heavy weight oil ?,and is there an alternative to the A-3126 fluid.
cheers

I honestly dont remember what I read, I think 1K is the same as light, 3K the same as heavy (the original 2 types you could get). Maybe someone with better memory (and experience) can jump in and correct me. Its been a while since a ready it, and many many moons since I last used a hydra.

think that i will make some enquiries at my local model shop about 1/8th diffs and get some of the lighter oil as a start point.
