Hi All,
Well I've finished my fully functional A stamp gold pan and thought I'd share the pics with you all.. want to take the old girl out for a spin, just waiting for the weather to clear up here in England.. (might be a long wait)
Took a few months off and on, including freight from Amercia!!.. bought a wrecked one off ebay
I remember going into the model shop in Oxford (Howes Models) as a kid and just lusting after this car.. happy memories
The spotlights were a bit of a git to attach.. resorted to hot pins & superglue. .anyone got any better ideas??

Very nice. I need to get another pair of lights and a correct wing to really finish off mine right. Sure is fun to look at them when they are done and bring back memories of all the fun racing.

Absolutely stunning bit of kit right there. Don't know if I would have the male parts to take it out for a spin though. It would probably live its life on my shelf for me to gaze at it lovingly.

Hi Chris,
The stripes were hand cut from (overlaid & layered) white / blue vinyl married up to each other using a paper templates for shape (the curves at the back were a pig) and a metal ruler as a guide when sticking them down (really fiddly!?!) the "10" was a bit of a hatchet job using stencil typeface, scapel'd out of white and applied to the underside of body.. glad you like, really enjoyed doing it.
Here's what I started with..

Do you have an original Associated Edinger press photo showing the big "10" on the top? My box doesn't show the very top of the RC10.

WOW. I'm even more impressed that you had to paint the stripes on etc. Nicely done!

Looks sweet, especially doing the paint work yourself!

Oh, my apologies. I didn't know you worked there.

I thought it was your home office and you reeeeely liked Team Associated.
