Replacement for the Stealth slipper pad?

Figuring my slipper pad is gonna wear out sooner or later, and given the decreasing availability of parts for the old RC10's, hoping to find a couple of spare pads to keep in my. Haven't been able to find a relevant post on here other than how to retrofit with a newer slipper, so I throw myself on the wisdom of the forum. Is there a slipper pad on the market that fits the original stealth?

Thanks as always!

swap out the top shaft of the trans with the b4 one. than you can run the b4 slipper assembly. easy direct swap. problem solved. :)

as far as stock rc10 slipper pads keep your eyes open on ebay.

you can also get the parts from a b2/b3/t3 slipper too. if you don't feel like replacing all of your spur gears.

So this method lets you keep the spur gears, but you replace the topshaft and slipper?

you don't need to change the topshaft. the 2.25 and 2.40 trans uses the same one. all you have to do is take your slipper parts off, and install the new stuff. you can reuse the thrust bearing, washers, spring, locknut and spur gear screws. just need the inner and outer hub, slipper disc, and a 3/16 x 3/8 bushing.

I think that the B2 parts might be the same as stealth, and the B3/T3 one is larger diameter.

ya, i think you're right. i always lump together because of them having the 2.40.

the t2 has the small one, too.

Well they're usually pretty cheap, I might just order a B2 one and see how it fits. If I do I'll post that here.

you could look around for rulon sheets and cut your own. it's a task, but doable. or you could buy a slipper assembly, complete with the rulon disk, from ebay.

you didn't say what you're using your rc10 for. but if you want to run it without the hassle of looking for slipper parts get a current b4/t4 slipper setup. you could find a new complete set up for 10 bucks shipped. and for another 7 to 10 you could get the top shaft. you're set to go.
