This is a pic of my truck I just finished getting it back in shape.
I bought it used and it is my very first rc ever.
I wish I knew what year it was built and what it's worth.
Not that ill ever sell it but I am just curiouse.
I cant seem to find another one with the red aframes and associated chasis parts like this one has.

take an exacto knife and take away a small area of any red part. you'll see that they are white underneath.

Because they liked red, or because white nylon is hard to keep white

yeah, that was one of the cool things with the RC10 and other that had white nylon parts. A little dye and some hot water and you could color your car to pretty much whatever you wanted! You just had to be careful, some plastic blends can't be dyed, they just kinda get slightly stained.

I have parts that are blue, black, pink, orange and red from various purchases, though I have used black and blue personally.

And to anticipate the forthcoming question - no, there's no way to remove the dye

Well like i said it's my very first rc.
I will probably keep it forever, and i kinda like the red.

I am already looking for a truck that is more stock for racing and its got to have all the latest technologies like a brushless motor but i'm still not sure bout the graphite carriage's.
Anyway im sure this forum is going to be very helpfull in getting me pointed in the right direction.
Thanks guy's
