Venom LiPo Bullet broken

Tonight I was at the track and my RC-10 quit running. I brought it back to the pits and found that the bullet connector was arcing inside the LiPo case. I decided it was best to stop using it.

The battery is not even 1 year old yet. Do you think it would be covered under warranty, or would it be chalked up to wear an tear? I have already sent an e-mail to Venom and left a voice mail.

Thanks,

ED

My son had a venom that did that and we sent it to them and they send out a new one right away.

This has happened to me before with other brand lipos. I think it was caused be a poor connection which heated the connector and melted the case slightly allowing the connector to move about.

Since it's arcing it's probably fubar, but it's worth contacting the manuafcturer to see if they'll do anything.

Venom replied and said they would replace it if it was under 1 year. I bought it February 25,2011, I hope they consider that under 1 year..
