Too bad the vid cuts off before the best quote ever: "How does he sit with balls that big!?"

This event happened pretty close to lexan's accident, I remember I was going to post it with some comment on how to properly ride a mountain bike but changed my mind since we didn't know yet how things were going to turn out. Its an awesome run.

Just watching that clip got my heart racing. That boy has got the flow!

Bit more info from google:

"Great Britain’s Danny Hart gave us a master class in downhill racing as he demolished the wet Champéry track in a show of dominance not seen here since Hill's infamous run of 2007.

Coming off the back of an amazing 2nd place at the last round of the World Cup in Val di Sole, Hart went one better to cut more than 11 seconds off the time set by silver medalist Damien Spagnolo (FRA)... even finding time to showboat over the last jumps."

I am a former Canada,Ontario Cup and 24Hr mountain bike racer and that run made the hair on my arms stand up. I swear the one year it rained every freakin race I did. That run was a true "dont let the rain and mud scare " you run.
Amazing bike control too.

Only thing missing was a Superman Seat Grab over one of the last jumps. Maybe next year.

DH Run of the year 2011. One of the best and especially controlled DH runs ever!!! I also like Sam Hill's Val di Sole video, crazy commentators :) ... (just look on youtube: Sam Hill "The legend" - Insane Downhill....).

Ha Ha! Now you guys understand the draw and what's taking me away from RCing. Yeah, that was this past year World Championship run by Danny Hart from Team Giant. After that run, he deserved to win. Typically when the course is that sloppy, guys don't run that fast.... I want to say from memory he was 14 sec ahead of 2nd place..... insane. Although, if Aaron Gwin (the first US World Cup winner in decades) didn't crash it would have been close.

We went to Windham, NY for the US WC round to see those guys and it was the coolest thing I have ever been too. Going back this year as well.

I will dig out some video my wife took of the gap jump at Windham.... it was freggin awesome, all you heard was the wind and the click of the rear hub when they went flying by. IT WAS SO AWESOME!
