Alot of the pins/step pins say Schumacher C.A.T. Alot are mint with crisp pins. Alot of Losi and Trinity wheels. Few Associated tires and wheels. I just have no clue whats what honestly. There are disc wheels, and 2 or 3 piece wheels.

You're probably already getting a crap load of pm's about your parts. My advice is to not jump too quickly on 'great offers'. You got some real good stuff there. I would catalogue everything and get ball park figures so you have an idea of what you have there.

I've had a few. My purpose of posting pics is not to actually sell of course, but to get an idea from people like you about what I have. I've honestly received more messages about "not selling" and holding onto what I have than I have about wanting things. Luckily, unlike other message boards pertaining to current rides, the guys and gals here are more my age, due to the vintage of this particular car. Makes for a much more pleasant experience, atleast so far.

Nice pile! Looks like you have close to three Topcats there. More than a little jealous I must admit.
That uncut Topcat shell is VERY, VERY, VERY RARE! Dont cut it whatever you do!
You will find lots of helpful advice on rebuilding your rides here.
By the way the rims that fit the Topcat are the 4 square tipped star pattern and the 12 pointed star pattern.
Everything else is Losi, RC10 or Tamiya.

Thanks for the advice Brad. After looking at the inside of the rims, its easy to tell which fit the Schumacher. I have several of the 12 point stars with "Trinity" on them, were these aftermarket?
I will NOT cut the shell,

Yes they were aftermarket.

Ha ha - a TopCat was my first 'proper' racer R/C car & I must say i'm a little jealous too

Fantastic haul of cars & parts you have there, you must be pretty 'chuffed' to say the least!
I would say looking at the photos of the spare parts that only the black shock tower (Tee shaped part with three holes in it) & that big plastic bumper are non-Schumacher - the shock tower is for the RC10 - the bumper might be a JG item also intended for the RC10? There appears to be enough spares amongst the rest of the spares to build a 3rd car (they looks new too

)
There's a couple of RC10 parts on your built-up cars too - the white battery cup in the car without wheels & the white spring 'collers' on the rear shocks of the car with the Novak electrics
I do hope you intend to re-build these (now quite rare) cars & enjoy them - it would be cool to build runners out of the built cars & a 'mint' shelf queen from the spares
Keep us up to date with your plans & of cause post up pics as you go

Thanks for the great post DerbyDan. I noticed the white parts immediately as well. I plan to build as you mentioned. Truly blessed to have acquired such a great lot of cars. I will definitely post progress when work begins!

Well...what had happened was.............
My ex-wifes brother called and said "hey, dude at work just gave me a box of RC stuff, and I know you know about that stuff, do you want it?"
I didn't think much of it and said, "Sure, just take it to ya sisters, I'll get it later". Naturally, I forgot about it, lol. 3 weeks later, me and the gf went over to hang out with her and her hubby and her brother stopped by. He said, "Hey, ride over to my place and get this stuff with me" We pull up, and what I had assumed was a shoe box with who-knows-what from Wal-Mart, turned out to be 5 boxes of RC10's and Top Cat's,
SITTING ON HIS PORCH!! The RC10 box was exposed, sitting on top, I think I dribbled a little in my undies. These are just 2 of the main brands I have separated. There is many decal sheets, (2 JRx2 which are mint) and a Kyosho sheet, as well as a Manual for an Optima and a JRx2. I have found a few parts that are grey, almost a Mugen grey, that I'm sure go to a Losi, and some shiny black parts on trees in plastic which I have no idea about.
Today, I discovered a Bolink 1940 Ford Body, which appears to been part of a Bolink Digger "pull truck" from what I've found, unpainted, uncut. Who really knows what else is in this pile, time will tell.
............and that my friend, is how I came upon this nice stash of RC Heaven!!!
The moral of this story......stay friends with your ex's family!!!

Great story dude. The best part about this is, it all got into the right hands, not thrown in the trash!
Enjoy your stuff
