Hey guys

in order to limit the fees when paying paypal "gift", I've linked a bank account to my paypal account... however, when it's time to pay, I somehow don't have it popping up in my "funding options"... of course the paypal help line is useless

Can anyone help? what am I doing wrong?

Cheers
Paul

On your bank, you need to "top up" your paypal account, from my bank i do it under payments then there is a tab there for paypal, from there i cam select how much i would "top up" to my paypal account.

Cheers!

have you verified the account through paypal since adding it? if not then that is why it is not showing up. when adding a bank account paypal will make 2 small deposits into your bank account. you need to look and see what these amounts are and then use the amounts to verify the account with paypal. once you do that it should show up underfunding options.

You can have paypal set up so it automatically takes the money straight from your bank account, so there is no need to top up your account.

It is set-up in the UK as a "Direct Debit". Not sure how it work elsewhere, but in the UK it is exactly how LowClassCC has explained.

ah-ha! that could be why, thanks a lot. But I can't recall seeing any message of that kind from Paypal when "finalizing" my bank account entry... weird. Let's give it another 48hrs I guess :)

Thanks a lot!

For European countries, you need to look for the instructions on Paypal's website.
