Hello all, I'm a noob to the RC10 world however not new to the RC world. Before a acquired this C stamp gold pan I have been strictly nitro. For some reason this little gold pan has bit me and I am infatuated with getting this thing up and running. It has quite a few issues which, from the help of reading this forum has really helped quite a bit. I'm currently attempting to figure the modern wheel situation out which this forum has addressed many times however I have come up short.
I have purchased RPM front and rear A arms and replaced the dogbones with MIP CVDs part#1007 from tower hobbies. With the hubs that were on the rc10, the dogbones fall out of the diff out drives, obviously too short. So I took the hubs off and sanded down the hubs from the outside and re installed the bushings. This fixed the issue and the dogbones are seated nicely in the out drive cubs. Problem that I have now is, the wheels i purchased are to close to the shocks and the tie rods. I was wondering if hubs from a different car would fix my problem or maybe I should replace the wheels to off sets. Any help would be appreciated.
