RC10 Graphite (Stealth)

I rescued it from certain death last week and I've been working on it on & off since then :D

The bad... No white parts, ALL were dyed & trashed. Shocks and Motor plate scratched all up. Just about all steel items were rusted horribly. Some damage to the nose is present, not sure what to do about that. B&R mod motor dead. No wheels/tires. Broken Futaba Servo. I probably forgot about a few things, but you guys get the point.

The good... no cracks & minimal scratches and it was drilled for the Stealth. It came with a working Novak - the M5, it need some rewiring, but I can fix it up. Full bearing Stealth is in great condition.

I started with a complete tear-down/cleaning reassembling it with newer parts for a doner b-stamp. The Stealth needed some attention, but not much - cleaning, new bearings etc. The dogbones were replaced with universals which completed the rear end. I unanno'd everything to hide the blemishes even though I know they're still there  Tossed on some wheels and other electronics for now. Photos are where I last left off, but still much to do.

Thanks Don!
I don't think I'll drive it much, but IF I do some kind of shorty bumper is needed. For the body I have no idea yet, I want one that covers fits the chassis best. I guess that goes the same for my composite craft :? I have a protech and a viper coming, but I will gladly entertain any suggestions

Hey Kevin,
an undertray will help keep the whole thing clean and keep from having to fit a body tight to the chassis. Front shorty bumper will help keep it on. Most gold pan bodies will work good with it keeping dirt to a minimum inside. ROH73 here on the board does them himself for a great price and they are good quality.

Thanks Todd, I'll have to look into that. I can't say that I've actually seen one. I thought about the larger "driver" dust cover but then again, not sure it will do what I want. Sounds like the undertray is my best bet :D

After some research I decided on the viper body, I've done this body before so I have paint masks etc for it already.
Design wise, I liked what I did with my team car, the sons B3 so I essentially merged the styles/approach for this. Again, Pactra metallic black everything else in vinyls, I think it came out pretty decent :D

Upgrades are coming... a set of technacraft tb's for sure, I haven't decided upon anything else.

HAHA, yeah it does kinda look like a bee  I like the design though, wish I could do all this in paint without effort - vinyl is effortless in comparison

I like it too, I was hoping the nose wasn't damaged as much as it is, bit I don't think I can fix that. Too bad there isn't some kind of protector like they have on some 12th scale pan cars, now that would be cool. (see last photo in this post) More design photos...
