Just finished plumbing this car up with goodies. Our vintage class locally requires a Nicad battery and the biggest motor you can run is a 19t. I had the electrics laying around, so it is outfitted with:

Komodo Dragon II Pro 19t
Atsushi Hara Twister 2 ESC
Futaba 9601 Steering Servo (mini)
Spektrum rx to go with my JR R1 (Love my beastly 10lb radio)

Special thanks to Nvxwax, for doing this build. 8) The car is great! :D

What nose plate is that? Doesn't look like a 10t nose plate. Did you cut the chassis yourself or buy it like that?

Nice! Is that pink and green wire from Trinity? I still have a bunch of it left from years ago.

So that class requires a NiCad battery? What are you running and how long are the races?

The wires came with the esc. It was a Hot Bodies esc made by KO Propo. I used to run this in my onroad car (HPI Pro4) Very tiny esc w/no motor limit. Love this esc.

Yes, a nicad  Lets just say our local guys have some wierd policies when it comes to rules. The races are 5 mins and I have some 2400mah packs that I've had for awhile.

Me and William did a little business not long ago. I have offered to ship it to him to run at Vonats if he still needs a ride.

Thats a clean ride you go there! Just in case, you can find the add on heatsink for the ESC in case it runs warm. Amain or Speedtech may still have some in stock, if you want to give it a try? Do you have a setting card for it - might help to optimize for the 19T and NiCd, I believe Stomer has some in stock. Just for the Tamiya Fans reading this there was the Brushed Volac ESC which is also made by KO!

if you overheat a VFS, especially with a 19T, you're doing sthing terribly wrong!!!

This is the best speedo in history. It has been sold under the KO brand, but also the Hara as above, the Volac, also Corally and a couple of otheres. I still have a couple I think :)

I would agree, its my favorite esc ever, lol. I used to run an 11t with no problem, so I think a 19t will be fine. I have the external capacitor, but its bigger than the case
Great info. about the others, I didn't know that. I know this one is pre-programmed with Haras set-up.

Rob, Jake milled this chassis. It was nvxwax's build 8)
